rodwell's the most over rated player - by the meeja, mainly - i've ever seen
He is massively hyped and I have to say that every time I've seen him play (only on TV admittedly) I have been underwhelmed with him - I know he's had a terrible time with injuries too though. Do you think he'll end up a top player?

id say no because he seems to lack oomph. he's no bettet than fletcher (who's a fine player but not someone i remember people raving about). rodwell is very neat and tidy but, at the moment anyway, not really showing signs of being a game changer

Interesting comments. It seems the ones who have seen him the most, Evertonians, don't rate him that highly and almost everyone else jumps on the bandwagon saying what a great player he will be. If the comparison with Fletcher is correct then he will never make a big impact anywhere. Like you say, nice and neat but not someone who can grab a game by the scruff of the neck and boss it. United certainly do not need another Darren Fletcher-type.
Rodwell is over-hyped by everyone at least Gibson takes risks (something that we need at the moment) with his passes. I believe Moyes would start 11 centre backs if he had the personnel, which might occur soon enough the way that he attracts attack minded players.
