Get to any that I physically can, haven't been to as many away as I'd like to this season but other commitments have got in the way. Preferred away games last season to be fair as I've been to all the premier league grounds, visiting new towns and we were more or less guaranteed the 3 points. Better atmosphere aswell compared to most of the soulless top level support.
used to go to just about every match home and away with sheff utd and england but have gradualy lost interest over the last few years. Only been to sheff utd 5 times this season and not been to an england game since holland in 08/09. Dont get me wrong we are rubbish at the minute maybe worse than weve ever been in my lifetime but thats not the reason ive stopped going, ive always stuck with my team through thick and thin (or thin and thinner in our case) but it just seems like the current regime doesnt care anymore about the team or fans just about making a quick buck then fucking off so ive lost heart with it all.
Had a season ticket for years, gave it up a few years ago now. Started going to mostly away games. Now I very rarely go. If they brought back standing and stopped with the idea of treating football like you are going to the opera ,then i might go more.
Had a season ticket for years and gave it up then got one again this year. To be honest part of me wishes i hadnt now, dont enjoy going to the games anywhere near as much as i used to. Dont know if its being in the premiership that i dont like with all the fake fans but i much prefer it in the championship
Loved the whole day until a few years ago on the ale before and after the game in wolvo, now the characters and the atmosphere seem to have all gone, town now is full of kids all on sniff
I go to every home and away game in the league. Due to work, I can't go to the european away games. So gutted about it, but that's life. Love my team and my city, and can't see it changing anytime soon.
Not really. Still have a season ticket but due to work I can't get to every game and pretty much if anything else pops up then I will pretty much do that now whereas before it was all about going to the game. Been like this for the past 3 seasons now. Maybe it because the football is pish (which it is), maybe the I feel the prices for other things excluding match ticket is too high (which it is) and maybe I am just not enjoying it as much as I used to due to getting slightly older and having other interests in life now (which I am). Maybe, and the most likely option, is that a combination of all three has finally took its toll and thats why I don't go as much as I used to.
I'm not really sure of all this pressure, I'm never gonna lose any of my old letters, 'Cause they'll stay with me, Until I can see that I'm no one
New stadia has killed the match day atmosphere used to love jogging up the stairs to pen 1 at filbert street now its a drudge to filbert way enjoy the beer before and after but don't seem worth the effort no more.crying shame and hope to giver it another go next season went to the doncaster match with forum friends and left early?! During a great game .my lad is only 4atm so many good years coming soon
Season by season i find myself going less & less. Plan to do around 6 away days a season. Go to most home games that i'm home for, also try & pick an overseas match purely for a lads piss up for a couple of days. Last we did was the Brondby v Copenhagen derby.
Planning to do a bit of touring round the country for matches that catch the eye next season.
"If you have friends like mine, raise your glasses. If you don't have friends like mine, raise your standards."
Still one of a few st holders left between our mates so go to all home. Aways are much more fun but also hit the pocket harder, and then usually have to write off the next day
Thing is blades have been in the same division for 14 of the last 15 years so it's getting a touch dreary playing the same teams over and over again. I'd not want us to get relegated but it would probably get me going away again a bit more. Can't beat the buzz, and not FV, just the comeradery of being on the lash in a strange town with your pals
Saying that, with a wedding to pay for and a degree to finish I'll be lucky to see daylight next 18 months
have a season ticket every year....used to do most aways too, but they get limited these days tbh (lets be honest they are an expensive day, when you like a good drink and a new jacket on your back)....but try and make a couple!....also hate watching football on TV....so if i didnt go id probably not see much football
hooked since 81 v forest fa cup game, love it, stopped going as played meself 85-99 on saturdays, just the odd game, been a season ticket holder for the past 11 years, go with a group of mates, we all take our kids, mine are 6 and 10, great day out , few beers, catch up with the lads, even better if they win, still love pulling on new clobber for the match, still my "peacock day"

got season ticket and try to get to all them games at home, as you get older and the other half gets more on your back, its my only bit of time i get to spend with the lads now,if i gave that up i'd stuggle to get out at all with them
