Probably right Steve. He is a winner but don't know if he could achieve it under the financial constraints that Arsene has had to work with at Arsenal over the last 6/7 years with the new stadium etc.

Yes casualcol can't argue with your point. Jose won the 2004 Champions League with Porto but is probably the only Champions League Final never watched, worst season quality wise can remember for Champions League imo.
Remember watching Celtic V Porto UEFA Final in 2003 and disgusted by the cheating and diving by Mourinhos Porto team.

You are, of course, right about the UEFA Cup final in 2003 but all the diving and cheating wasn't confined to one side in that game, albeit weighted very much in favour of Porto. It is worth remembering that just 15 months previously Porro were a mid table shambles before Mourinho took over. Was laughed at by journalists when he said they would win the league the following season. Also achieved his success at Porto by having to sell their better players each summer he was there.
Have to agree that Jose is one of the best managers around. His record is up there with the best and if he pulls off a La Liga/Champions League double this season, that would be impressive.
