What game were you watching? They scored from a corner first half, other than that they did nothing. Valencia hit the post and United had 60%+ possession.
2nd half United were still in control but when Scholes went off United lost their shape. Still don't remember any Liverpool efforts but they did come on in the last 10 minutes.
Didn't Carrol hit the woodwork anall at the end of the day, its not about near misses and how many shots or possession your team has its how many times you hit the back o' the net. De Gea is, excuse the pun, out of his league and on a brighter note, Evra was worse.
Although I think Lindergard should be starting at the moment, De Gea will come good, yes he's made mistakes but that's just lack of confidence. Thought United bossed the game at times today which is refreshing because lately they've just folded at Anfield. De Gea just needs time to settle , has been brilliant before arriving at Utd and been hailed righlt so , does look a bit nervy , but PL hard league to settle into .. looks dodgy on the high ball and teams will capitalise on that .. thought Utd better team today , King Kenny does have a magical touch though ...

De Gea is a very good shot stopper but he doesn't look big or strong enough for the physical side of the Premier league yet. Whether or not he can eventually learn to cope with that side of the game remains to be seen. He looks shit scared at times though.
If De Gea is as good a prospect as you United fans are making out the best thing Fergie can do is farm the kid out. Most of the games i've seen him play in he seems to lack confidence, these piss poor performaces could destroy him.

When vd Sar said he was going to quit, I was almost certain Utd would try to get Maarten Stekelenburg from Ajax. Still think they should have, he's a far better then de Gea IMO
