Not suprised after the shocking performance yesterday but im slightly dissapointed. Done a great job for us, turned us into a team that won the Championship after the state that Hoddle left us in and has kept us in the prem for 3 years, even though it was by the skin of our teeth last season. Just dont see who else we can get in, if they were going to do it they should have done it when the transfer window was still open or when Hughes and O'Neil were still available. Been calls for him to go ever since he took us up but ive always stuck up for him, can see this turning into a bad decision.
Most my pals are saying he took the Wolves as far as he could, question is who is there better at the minute? talk of Warnock of Bruce, hardly what I'd want if I was a Wolves fan.
Not really shocked, who will replace him..... Id like ray wilkinson, chelsea have not been the same team without him and I think he could do a good job as number 1,but as coops said could be a bad decision
Do they go for someone who might give them a quick fix and keep them up, but suffer next season? Maybe Warnock, he did alright first few games this season.
OR
Someone who will probably benefit them more long term and get them back up next season? Maybe Billy Davies?
I think they will regret this, and I think he would have kept you lot up as well this year, as managers go he's had no budget and is the most likely gaffer that wolves will get at the present time to keep them going with no backing. I don't think they had any choice though after we give you a good stuffing yesterday, I think this is their way of trying to ease the fans and make it look like their doing something, either way the best you can hope for in my opinion is poaching either chris hughton or Sam allardyce, and that's the best that might currently happen, pretty poor decision.

Roy Keane is bound to be named.
think that'd be a disaster for them. As a short term solution Curbishley may keep them up but with only a few months to go and no transfer window whoever gets it will have a real struggle on their hands. Got to wonder what the Wolves board are thinking giving a manager 4 weeks to buy players then punting him.

I completely agree with that in one way BUT had they of not had that massive defeat yesterday he'd of 90% more than likely of kept you up imo !!
Hate the whole business football club management, no loyalty, even if you get relegated you've overacheived by having 3 years in the top flight anyway !!....All done by mick, 5 and a half years is a lifetime in football too, he did well to last that long !!
I have a really bad feeling about all this - Depending on the next appointment and clarification of the CEO's 'vision' of the future, I'll then decide if I'm willing to spend my money on the Club I've been watching for the last 38 years... Suppose that may look a bit weak to some.
Left us in a better state than when he came , reading in the local rag the board did not back him in a lot of signings that he wanted Ba , Caybe both went to Newcastle, Gardner to Sunderland , plus others . Some of the players let him down badly also , heard is favourite for Leeds job I hope he gets it & they will be in the prem within 2 years
Watched the news earlier and heard that when he arrived in the summer of 06, which to me seems like yesterday, he said he'd have them promoted in 3 years....He did exactly that !! He's kept them there for 3 seasons whether they stay up or go down this season, which IMO is a massive over acheivment with the funds he's had, he could of spent very differently and more efficiently IMO but with what he had, he did very well !!
Just seen the shortlist on Central news, Curbishley, Bruce, Warnock and Keane, not looking good that. It's about time that fat fucker Moxey was shown the door!

Doesnt look great does it T. Definatley dont want Bruce or Keane, the other 2 wouldnt be my first choices and think both would be a backwards step from McCarthy, but saying that i think anyone will get in will be. Id like to see us trying to knick Hughton from Blues but cant see that happening and i wouldnt mind Holloway, think some fans are in dreamland thinking we might get Rafa though
