I know what you mean. Some of his tactics have been very questionable, shocking at times. But I like the guy, seems really decent. So I hope Chelsea do the business.

the commentator said they had done it intentionally, but also that Inter struggled with it last weekend. Does the ground belong to A.C.? I thought neither owned the San Siro, they just use it.

Perhaps Arsenal should complain to UEFA for having to play on a different pitch to Milan.

Everyone knows pace unsettles italians so what do we do? Pick our slowest team, move the ball slowly and don't try to impose ourselves physically. We look shit scared in big games. I think the San Siro has had pitch problems for years, think there has always been an issue with the design of the ground in that there isnt enough sunlight that gets to the pitch and lack of air movement. Or something like that.
No gloating from me - I expect the exact same thing to happen to Chelsea next week in that cauldron that is the San Paolo. I fully expect a good, old fashioned, Chelsea collapse.

Can't blame AVB. Blame the clowns who thought it a bright idea to appoint what was essentially the office junior over broadly the same group of players 5 years later. He might turn out a decent Manager but the job is too big and too soon for the lad now. It was a car crash appointment from day 1 and struggle to see who thought it would work. Last weekend was the worst Chelsea performance I've witnessed in 20 odd years going - and that includes the end of season Leeds one in 97 where it was so bad there was no highlights for MOTD..... Spineless, soulless, heartless. Made Pienaar look world class FFS . Shameful.
