The thing is, the Arsenal owners don't seem too keen on splashing any serious cash and have got used to 'success' on the cheap. By all means sack Wenger but a new manager will want to spend big on top players and that will mean paying wages to match which Arsenal have always seemed reluctant to do. You can see the appeal Wenger would have to cheapskate owners.
This season results and performances have been piss poor. Most of signings in last three seasons have been sub standard apart from Chamberlain, Vermaelen and Koscielny. What sums up Arsenal/Arsene at the moment is selling Fabregas and Nasri and buying Arteta. Get £60 million and spend £10 mill to replace.
