Don't follow Spanish football much, but really? 43 goals in 41 games not a bad return.
Quote by Leicester_LoyalHes a monster, will be the greatest ever living player IMO.
Some of the older lads might disagree that he hasn't earnt that title yet but he already is in my eyes.
I believe he will become the best of all time, he can't be that far off it now IMO, but if he spends his entire career at Barca then he will have had it easy compared to say Maradona. It was interesting to see him struggle a bit without Iniesta and Xavi for a few weeks recently when they were both injured and of course with Argentina Messi looks a shadow of the player he does in a Barca shirt.

Definitely a good point, I suppose we will see soon when Xavi retires. Would be good if he tried a new challenge in Italy or England. Hard to tell him that when he's currently at the biggest and most succesful club in the world though.
I can't see Messi ever leaving Barca. I don't think hes the best player ever yet, but one day he will be.
Without Xavi and Iniesta he wouldn't get as many goals, but who wouldn't? Its up to Barca to replace those two, they've already started that process with the signing of Fabregas.
Interestingly I can see Madrid winning the league this year, they're already about 10 points ahead I think. Barca will win the Copa Del Rey, and maybe one will win the CL too.

When Xavi retires then Fabragas will step up. I saw him carry us for years at the Arsenal and he is a simply superb midfield player. Even as young as he was, he was still the best midfield player in "the best league in the world".
