all that hoo-ha about their privacy and they've all settled, in some cases for seemingly modest amounts. and most journalists aren't a bunch of cunts. most are working ludicrously long hours for appalling pay.

It is a fucking huge breach of privacy though - imagine if someone had been listening in to all of your private telephone conversations for several years, effectively knowing every intimate detail of your personal life. You would be pretty fucking pissed. It is disgusting what that lot were up to. Disagree that the majority of journalists are cunts, but the majority of tabloid ones certainly are.
News International are not in any way sorry for what they got up to. Charlotte Church is right, the only thing they are sorry about is getting caught. And make no mistake those at the very top knew this was going on, it was normal practice. Fuck 'em.
