Watching Match of the Day 2 I noticed referee Mike Dean’s odd reaction to Louis Saha’s goal it appears as though he wants the ball to go in after it deflects off Vermaelen!



He seems to react much like the Spurs fans did — jumping up excitedly as the ball loops off Vermaelen before urging the ball in with his hands as it trickles towards the line. Then he appears to start a little celebratory jig watch his right leg before remembering he’s supposed to be impartial and composing himself.
