Indeed, for a second it looked like K-J-H was missing a tooth after he got all the grass out of his mouth, and the English defender didn't look good either, so I hope he'll be alright.
Cracking goals though, let's see what the rest of the match will bring, though I must say that a victory isn't worth a major injury on either side.
Quote by STEVECFCRobben still has it though , why he left Chelsea ...
Not watching it but got a text from a mate saying 'Robbens pace fucking hell'......is he still as sharp as he was when he arrived at chelsea all those years ago !!......8 years.....fuck sake that has flew.
OK, England lost, but, that was one of the most entertaining games i have seen them play. Don't forget we were fielding a very inexperienced team last night who passed the ball with confidence and felt comfortable with play, something lacking of late.

Did you think? Up until the cloggies scored I thought it was woeful. I've never been a great fan of friendlies and last night reminded me why - looked like a training session at times IMO. You're right to point out how inexperienced a side it was and that could well be a positive. I think there are a few players - Richards, Hart, Jones, Smalling etc - who will be about for years to come and could form the nucleus of a pretty decent side. I do think England lack that bit extra though. How many english players would get in the dutch, german or spanish teams? Three? No doubt the press will be touting england to win the european championship in the summer but I cant see them doing anything but going out in the quarters.

You lack a guy like Sneijder or the likes of that, to be fair. Our defense was shocking at times, btw. Will cost us in games against Spain or the likes.

Ok, we played the ball back a few times but at least we kept it, how refreshing to see that as oppossed to booting it up field. Don't forget we were without a recognised striker last night. The players you mentioned did a fantastic job and Parker lead from the front, we still need a decent winger imo, Johnson and Walcott are out of their depth's. It was a pity Chamberlain played earlier for the kid's would have liked to seen him given a run out.

Agree Parker put himself on the line at every opporunity but think England's problem will remain a lack of world class skill. Working the ball through traingular parking in midfield is a lot harder then throwing yourself into a block. You're right about AOC, can see him stepping up soon sounds like he had a good game for the u-21s

think I must have watched a different game .. was terrible first half , a real bore-fest .. passing at times was shocking , Gerrard rarely found the player , and a lot of the passing went arriy .. second half , only got better when we were 2 down ..
Parker was immense , and Im glad Pierce picked some young stars , talking of Young - he was naff ... Sturridge looked dangerous when he came on ..
Dutch were lethal , didn't really do a lot , then two quality quick goals ..
dont know how anyone can be arsed with international football, especially friendlies. i was playing seven a side. we drew 7-7. last seconds i nipped in to pinch the ball off a defender, took it forward, keeper's got the near post covered so only place i can go is far post, bent it round him. hit the post and came out then the woman who runs the centre marched on to the pitch to declare the match over. the miserable lesbian. i was gutted.
