Me and my mate are travelling down to the Chelsea match on Sunday, however we haven't sorted out transport yet because we've only just got our tickets yesterday. I know most of you lads know London, and quite a few are Chelsea lads yourselves, so which stop do we need to get off at if we are using National Express?
Just enter London into the destination box and please let me know which stop is the best one, and also how far it is away from the ground after I get off the train.
Cheers lads, never actually been to London before, first time for everything and all that
Liverpool Street - Nottinghill , thats on Central line which is red line , then Nottinghill - Fulham Broadway district line green . Fulham Broadway is 5 mins max from ground .
I think Victoria Coach Station and Stamford Bridge are about 2-3 miles apart, according to google maps, so its not that far away (providing I've entered the right details)
cant you get the london midland super off peak saver? buy on the day for £25. goes london to liverpool (change at stafford) so i'd assume it carries on up to your way
Quote by Leicester_LoyalVictoria Coach Station is available, and pretty cheap too. Would it be possible to get off there, then tube it to Stamford Bridge?
Yeah, IMO london public transport, well the tube is brilliant, by UK standards anyway !!
Can get to anywhere in under an hour when in london, went from picadilly circus to dagenham in an hour, which flew by when your mates are cracking you up !!
Just make sure you allow for congestion when driving in london/getting to the ground, aka set off early doors !!
ok , jump on District Line - green , at Victoria then get off Fulham Broadway .. about 5 or 6 stops , so will take you 10-12 minutes on the tube , fuck all really ...
If you get down early enough you could walk from Victoria to the Bridge (straight down the Kings Road). Bit of a poncy area but still some nice boozers around. Must be about 2 miles.
