Ok people, i'm new round these parts so I thought I'd start a little betting project to break the ice with everyone. The plan is to start off with a 100 point bank and successfully bet my way to 1000 points. This will predominantly be on football although I may venture to further fields in pursuit of glory!! Anyone can join in and advice is always welcome. I'll post my selections well in advance and if anyone wishes to follow, do so at your own risk! Here's to what will hopefully be a profitable adventure!
I think barca will win, however Milan can be very stubborn so a play of under 3.5 could be the bet. Will need to see team sheets before ploughing in. Also a small double of barca/bayern looks tempting
Liking the look of brentford at home to Oldham @1.83 Won their last 3 and have chances to nick a play off position Big chance for them to put teams just above them under a bit of pressure
Can't get away from barca here....even though milan were worthy of the nil nil at the san siro, barcelona dominated and i expect more of the same. It may take a little while to break them down though and i would expect barca to trade at a higher price than 1.27. However for the purpose of this challenge i will take the pre kick off price
had a good run latley...backed, birmingham/torquay double friday night...everton/chelsea double saturday...lumped it all on celtic on sunday....then all on man u last night...had a nibble at birmingham tonight.......also backed real madrid -2 goals on saturday...they won 5 1
Is right wadey! I love it when everything you touch turns to gold......all the layers on betfair shitting their undies......boss feeling! I took betfred for over 3 and half grand in two weekends last season on the goals galore coupons.......Tight bastard has clipped his odds right in now so the value has gone
Two potential selections today for the project. The first should be straight forward however will wait for team news before deciding on the second.
5.30pm Kick Off Lausanne Sports v FC Basel Away win @ 1.43
Don't usually like playing on the away side but this has got to be taken. Basel are a different class to the rest of these mugs and a win tonight would put them 17 points clear of the other donkeys. Lausanne sit second from bottom. Basel have +34 goal difference compared with -30 of Lausanne and this all points to an emphatic away win...... Cue the greatest performance in the history of the mighty Lausanne Sport FC!!!
There has been no significant news to deter me from the second bet so it will be Chelsea Di Matteo appears to have re-grouped the players and they are now showing a unity that AVB threatened to rip apart. That, along with the owners' desire to add the CL trophy to the cabinet should result in a victory for football's 'dads army'
half fancied Basel....who have just scored btw.... have also plumped for chelsea this evening...nowt too serious but hopefully keep my account going in the right direction might have a go at Real Madrid -2...not made me mind up yet
