Was supposed to receive a jacket today from someone off here. I haven't received it and it says it's been delivered and signed for. Don't even know the name that has signed for it so can't be neighbours who have it. As this happened to anyone before? Can royal mail get the jacket back or does someone have a new jacket on me?
Happened to me this a few year ago with some cords, lad up the road took it in for me, he signed for it but didn't think to tell me when i got in. So I've gone on royal mail site checked tracking saw it had been signed for and delivered to my address so obviously panicked, then lad came round a bit later with the package.
Have had this happen to me before, with a new EG field from Hipstore...Basically you'll need to chase, but as your not the sender it them that has to chase for you, although it never hurts to give RM a call. Eventually after alot of chasing i got though to somebody that was simpathetic at Royal Mail, they where able to tell me via there tracking system which house the parcel had been signed for at I had to describe my road in detail and the postion of my house in the road and the Royal Mail representative on the phone just said it been left at your neighbours to the right...I'm sure if you get though to the right (helpful) Royal Mail department you'll be sorted

Thanks for that mate. I'll get the fella to chase it up and I'll do the same. Hopefully I will get to the bottom of it and get my jacket.

Frustrating it will be, untill you get through to an employee who cares...but they can tell from the handhald machine exactly within a few yards or so which property has taken the parcel in...My problem was compounded by the fact that the SD postman hadnt left a card through my door telling me who had the parcel, he'd typed in my name and let my neighbour scrawl over the screen, and hipstore had put the incorrect postcode on...Talking to the Royal Mail was difficult to say the least first off all due to my name being typed in, they told me i had recieved the parcel so i had to convince them that the signature wasn't mine and i'd been at work...Secondly they then took my postcode (which of course didn't cross reference what had been put on the parcel) so they then started telling me the parcel wasn't mine anyway...ffs got there in the end though
I would ask your postman if it was them who delivered it , and who / which house signed for it . If it wasnt your postman , im sure they will know who delivered and ask them to ask the same question .
Been on the phone to royal mail and they say it's been delivered to I hopcraft in south Sheffield. I'm from Barnsley so I haven't a clue how this as happened. I have to get the fella who sent it to ring them to take it further but when I asked him he said theres nothing he can do.
Maybe a long shot but give facebook a try? Search the name you have and see who comes up and drop them a message. You never know they might be understanding and forward the package on to you or let you go collect it.

I've been waiting 3 weeks for a Penfield Gibson jacket from coggles, checked the tracking for royal mail that coggles gave me and it says its still at the sorting centre in york, rang them up and they said they couldn't tell me where it is. Anyways I had to just ring up coggles and explained what has happened. Luckily I got a refund.
Royal mail are a bit of a joke if ya ask me, second time they have lost something due to be delivered to me and one time they just left my package outside the front door. F*cked up the item due to water damage. Twats.
Confusion in her eyes that says it all. She's lost control.....
I have a good relationship with my postie , he bangs fook out the door at 6.30(strangly always the same time). I say morning out the upstairs window , he signs and fooks off leaving it on the doorstep,my dog dosnt bark at the door ( took years of training)so the poor postie can be there for a while on a saturday
