I have always had an interest in photography and so I've finally decided to buy a camera. any of you into your photography able to help me choose one? I've decided against a compact digital purely because I want to be taking better quality pictures than what they are capable of. Furthermore, a DSLR I think is a bit out of my budget so I've decided to go for an EDSLR or "bridge camera". Any suggestions or recommendations? would the likes of this be any good?
Quote by OlafA bridge is a good idea because DSLRs really are a budget can of worms.
Once you've got the body the lenses can cost even more!
What's your budget? What do you want to try and shoot or are you really after an all rounder?
I wouldn't wanna be spending more than 250euro :/ the fujifilm that Im looking at comes in at 205euro for a case and an 8gb mem card. All rounder really I suppose
It sounds reasonable for what it is from reading the above.
Maybe just a little aware of this..... 'It appears after looking over the camera that despite the shape making it look as though it's a proper bridge camera that a keen photographer would use instead of taking a DSLR kit, it's actually more geared to a beginner that fancies a big zoom on their camera.'
I use one of these. Good for beginners in my opinion as there's plenty of options and settings to ease from point and shoot to using it in manual mode. Haven't been using it as much as I'd like to though.
The first 'proper' camera I purchased was a Lumix FZ20 I think it was. Never let me down and allowed me to try some more 'pro' style shots and settings.
