carrying on the thread from from what would you do with andy carrol, just watched the city game and the lads a liability i know he scores a few but hes no world beater and sums up exactly whats wrong with modern football over paid over inflated ego who thinks hes better than the team.Would have sooner seen city win the league than the red side of manchester but with players like him they ve no chance .Cant blame it all on ballotelli, but seen a few games with him in an he always seems to self destruct??
Not a big fan of Jamie Redknapp but I think he hit the nail on the head, Ballotelli thinks Man City is all about him. He should have been sent off or if Mancini had any bollocks he should have been dragged off the first half. He was never in the game today, seemed disinterested from the KO, as did Yaya Toure, his innocuous tap on the knee seemed a blessing in disguise as he were happy to 'limp' off. That defeat has probably cost Mancini his job.
Would have subbed him no question after the first yellow and I hate to say put Tevez on in his place. I would sell him at the next opportunity but he does entertain every one. I like watching him TBH but if I was a city fan would still want to get rid. A luxury player that entertains but brings to much hassle.
Glad he's not in my team, frustrating player. But I'd rather watch him than 90% of the boring, rent-a-quote, nandos going bastards in the Premiership. The game needs characters like him.
not a Man City fan so couldn't give a flying fuck , but were he in my team i'd want him gone , too much going on in his head - never seems right to me , yes he's a character , but a complete baffoon too ..
If I was a team mate I'd want to rip his head off. He was an embarrassment today and that first challenge on Song was a real shocker.
I like Mancini and I felt for him after the game after all the faith he'd put in Ballotelli to be let down like that. I know he's got a bottomless pit of money to play with but when you've got loons like Mario and Tevez in squad it's never going to be easy.
RUle of thumb....if Mourinho doesn't want him, then neither should you.... It went further today. It wasn't that he might get sent off, he was tryin most of the game to get sent off. Does city legends a disservice playing this cunt.
"The nightmares invading the sleep of Bayern fans involve four horsemen of the Champions League Apocalypse riding towards them. As the faces come into focus, they will recognise Frank Lampard, Cole, Petr Cech and Drogba. All were immense..."
I think he has great footballing skills, but at 22 years old, in a foreign country, women, money to burn he hasn't matured much yet... nor does he want to perhaps.
It seemed fairly clear that all of his team-mates were fed up of him as well yesterday; while he was lying around on the pitch as the half-time whistle went not one City player remotely showed any interest in whether he was hurt. He did seem quite intent on getting a red card - the only surprise was it took so long.
Style is knowing who you are, what you want to say, and not giving a damn.
