Even though it pains me to say it hes done a good job at the shit and did a great job at Fulham, yeah people will say he cant handle bigger jobs which was why he was sacked by Liverpool but he was destined to fail from the start as the fans never gave him a chance. He has previous international experience although at much lower ranked nations and did a good job both times. I dont think it is a bad appointment at all.

At liverpool the man played fernando torres left wing and david ngog upfront on his own ! Poor manager good at smaller clubs with no expectations on the bigger stage he was terrible for us
This is fantastic news. I wasn't too bothered about Euro 2012 until yesterday, but now I can't wait for it. Seeing England and the owl-faced cunt fail together will be a dream come true.
Right here's my take on the whole circus. The faceless men in suits at the FA are looking for an excuse, in advance for England's poor showing.....once again......in a major tournament. Hodgson is the ideal candidate, he's out of contract so there's no compensation pay out to West Brom. the guy is on a hiding to nothing. The England team as i stated earlier will fall at the first hurdle, who's to blame, not the player's. The press will lay into Hodgson, he'll get the shove.......enter Harry, England's saviour.
He'll fail to take them past the quarter final but any manager would IMO - England don't have enough quality to win an international competition. I honestly struggle to think of more than 3 players who'd get in the German, Spanish or Dutch teams
Must agree with GTBI think the press will crucify him at the slightest thing. Just hope he can handle the players big egos because the players will think they will get a easy ride with him.

The last manager came from real madrid, he had experience dealing with the worlds best players and there needs and how to exploit this in order to get the best out of them......Yet didn't show this experience as england manager. Hodgson coming from west brom is in a totally different boat when you look at it that way....
Ive been hearing this morning the appointment is very much down to his way of playing, his tactical ways and the fact that he'll be able to work with the kids at saint georges park in the coming years and that harry was snubbed due to his technophobia.....i personally dont think this is true, im sure the FA could easily get someone to sent emails for him.......
