hard game today gents, man city are the best team in the country IMHO they need to win were as our fates also down to spurs and what the blues do in germany really looking forward to this one i know we can score goals and i know city will leave space at the back, my head says city will edge it, my heart says 2-1 newcastle what ever happens europe beckons so chuffed enough with that
whats made this game now more interesting is Arse only drew yesterday , making 3rd more realistic for the Geordies & spurs .. the performance over Chelsea FC , - 2012 FA CUP winners , shows just how good the team are .. City will go there knowing full well they can be beat , the pressure will be immense on them .. should be a cracking game ..

I heard the Newcastle fans deserved some credit too.
Plenty of grief given during the game as it should be but applauding the City players after the game. Not many fans do that nowadays especially players who are so well/over paid.
If we got anything from today it would have been a bonus. A bit disappointing that we didn't turn up today after the result during the week but that's life. Just the fact that we have a chance of 3rd going into the last game is unbelievable given the squad we have, credit to them really. I think this is the most open season we've had in years TBH, things still to play for at both ends of the table.
Next weekend will be "edge of the seat" stuff. Mancini's tactics changed the game and we called it as soon as he pushed Toure forward, great player. He has that energy that can win games. I bet Guardiola is kicking himself for the letting him go as personally I think Barca lack edge that Toure gives.
By the way Gareth Barry is the most overrated player of his generation.
Thought it was a decent game, very nervy as expected. Really impressed with Newcastle and can see why they have had a great season. A good friend has had a ST for 25 years and has said a few times this season has been up there as one of his most enjoyable, reckons they have another 2 or 3 signings lined up for summer all being well. Looking forward to seeing Newcastle push on next season. As for City, made up for my Mrs and in laws, nearly there now. Yaya Toure is just different class and I love watching Silva aswell, just seems to have so much time on the ball.
