I upgraded to an Iphone 4s from my blackberry 2 days ago , the guy on the phone said I would get 20% off my £41 per month contract due to the Vodafone Employee Advantage Scheme, meaning I would pay £32.80 a month .
Gets the phone yesterday and sends my blackberry away to one of the recycle places today, only to recive an email today saying I am not valid for the Vodafone Employee Advantage Scheme due to my employer not being part of it , thereforewill need to pay the full whack,
So I phoned the cunts and they basically told me pay the £41 or return the phone and cancel my contract !and it was not their fault I had sent my Blackberry away to be recycled.
I have been with these cunts for about 8 years and this is the customer service you get , basically am unsure what to do , to make a omplaint and fight for the orginally contract they offered me , or just cut my loses and join another provider .
I have already told the them to cancel my contract and they are sending out a pre pay packet to send the phone back , the problem is I will have to write out over 150 phone numbers as I have already transfered them fom the BB onto the new phone which will be a total pain in the arse !
I would prefer just to stick with the new phone and pay the amount they told me I would pay , but on the other hand the fuckers dont deserve my hard earned !

Buy a PAYG iPhone micro sim along with a converter so you can stick it into a normal sim slot. Transfer the numbers from iphone onto the micro-sim, then put the micro-sim into your new phone (using the converter) and transfer the numbers across. Should work provided the iPhone lets you put a different micro-sim in to that it came with. Should do if it's the same network.
