arent alot of them amatuers though. east stirling and the likes must surely be. i know lads playing for local clubs down here who are probably on bigger wages than lower league scottish players.

Those who play in Division 1 are professional, i think anyway... Fortmartine (in the highland league) pay their players about £500 a week which is crazy and they're 14th in the league. And Huntly who are 8th in the league pay their players £60 a week. Mental.
They'd need ticketus to agree to a CVA, who are currently pursuing Craig Whyte for 25 million as well, if Ticketus do a deal with Rangers, it'd let CW off the hook too.
Then you've got HMRC and the wee tax case. I don't think it's likely HMRC will be cutting any deals with the big tax case verdict still to be announced. It would also set a precedent that the smart clubs shouldn't pay tax and they can do a cut price deal later.. After a series of high profile blows for HMRC, Redknapp, Vodafone etc, they'll be wanting to nail Rangers.

I hope this is a joke Celtic averaged nearly 5000 more this season than rangers when they go to div 3 they will b lucky to get 10000 in total
