Had a season ticket for well over 30 years and been to some 'inetersting' away games - moat with my Dad until he passed away in 2010.
Can't believe we've lived through such shite and my wife who took over his ticket has seen an FA Cup final win and a Premiership trophy.
To be fair to her she was there at home to Milwall in early 90's and when we beat Stoke 5-2 but still wen down!

As for Joey Barton. I honestly hope he gets a proper good hiding soon. I would happily volunteer!
To be fair to Barton he did take a dig off tevez and like most blokes would he reacted to it , the stuff after that , IMO he was wanting to take a city player with him to even things up , his side were staring the championship in the face , and again I cant knock him for that.

Most blokes ie grown men wouldn't have reacted to that, especially as club captain. If he was staring the championship in the face so hard he should have remained on the pitch.

You're right on both counts, especially about my Dad. Glad it was sunny yesterday so I could wear shades! Possibly should have taken them off when I went in various bars though

Is easy to say that sitting on your arse watching it on sky , with the preassure of the game etc emotions running high , when someone digs you , its normal to react, regardless of who you are .
