Quote by RVP's Left FootNews that I read said they would more than likely go into liquidation. Does that mean there goosed.
If they go into liquidation (which I think is happening) the SPL clubs will vote whether they should be allowed to stay in the SPL. They need 7 of the 11 clubs to vote yes.
In a way I hope we dont get voted back into the SPL ,without the carrot of europe whats the point ? just play the youths and start again , Aye the crowds will drop but we would still generate alot more money than the clubs around us therfore cruise back up the leagues , the SPL will suffer finacially without rangers as the old firm game is the only thing that attracts attention outside of scotland, plus the gates recipts at the other clubs will take a blow , anyone who thinks otherwise needs their head checked.
Rangers deserve to be punished , however the money men need the fuckin jail ! its the fans that suffer most for something they could not control.
Here's a question. If Rangers do indeed go into liquidation then how do they get to keep Ibrox? Surely it should be sold off and the money raised used towards paying their tax bill?

you,d have to ask the liquidators, theyve said rangers will still play at ibrox.
Quote by jack5All these Rangers fans are saying without them the SPL is fucked. Yet none of them want to remain in the SPL.
So for your wrong doing, you want to the SPL crumble? Very selfish.
as the spl want rangers to crumble, fuck them, as theres been nothing but hatred towards rangers, yes they should be punished for what they done, but why now should we care what happens to the spl. look after ourselves now. 3rd division. not being selfish at all.

They're selling the assets to the newco at a cut down price. I don't know why they get the opportunity to get it at a slashed price but saying that who else is going to buy the shit hole

So the media/green say do you really think HMRC will sit back and watch them sell assets at a cut down price ?
No chance it will go to the highest bidder their still a lot more of this story to unfold

Yeah I'd heard that they will stay at Ibrox which is why I wondered how they came to that conclusion.

Ah right, didn't realise that. You'd imagine developers would be interested in the land.

The SPL are bending over backwards to accomodate rangers, although god only knows why. If any other club displayed such rank cheating they'd be punted to the third in double quick time. The fact that the Bears are up in arms over an alleged conspiracy just makes the whole affair even funnier for the rest of us
Quote by Nealio678Apparently Scotland will be booted out of the world cup qualifiers if the SFA don't take appropriate action.
that was about a different thing, the hun taking the SFA to a civil court, it goes against the UEFA/FIFA/SFA and every other football accocciation rules, they quite rightly (for a change) run the leagues and make the rules and if you dont agree or abide by them go and find somewhere else to play.
Re the Liquidation, its going to drag on for a long long time, theres a school of thought just now about there being no hun anywhere next season, but theres also a big chance that there will be more than one newhun emerge from the ashes as there is a number of intrested parties and none of them get on to well, the liquidation itself will take up to three or so weeks and even now might not happen
love the fact that every hun thinks theyve been hard done by, the only people that got them into this position is the people they have been cheering on for decades if liquidation happens that means you no longer exist, there is no Glasgow Rangers 1872. they are dead, liquidated, gone, no more etc etc.
Because of that, the SPL will be one team short
Who should get that place ? a team that has not even been formed yet or the next in line for promotion into the SPL, why should a BNWT team get straight into the top league in any country
your not being relegated to the third division (if that where you end up), your applying to join the third division as a completely new club, like elgin, ICT, Gretna, Ross county all have before you, you might not be accepted as other clubs with 3 years of audited accounts might also be applying for the spare place in the SFL
none of these are punishments dished out by anyone. you might even get off with the big tax case, the double contracts and the disripute charges
