So after many months of umming and arring I finally ordered the Lumix LX5 today I was feeling very smug until i saw this beautiful Fujifilm X10 The reason I bought the Lumix was because of the lens and it's auto mode is superb. It also has enought functionality to keep me occupied as I get more in the swing of things. But the Fuji is something else, it feels brilliant and the after a quick play I think I've made the wrong choice.
Not paid a deposit so can change. Just wondered if anyone in the know could lend an opinion
They generally say the Fuji edges it, it has a viewfinder whereas the Lumix doesn't, but is bigger and heavier. Spec wise there's not much between them, but the way you use them is very different. The Fuji does win by a mile in my shallow, vein looks department :)
What sort of performance do you get out of the LX5? Is the auto mode as good as reported? I'm very much a useless amateur so looking for something that's easy to use, but has enough to keep me occupied when I get to grips with it.
