Another big kick in the nuts, what gets me is, we already pay high vat compared to other countries in the world. I think this year the great british people will have enough, we need to stand up and take notice to whats happening in the country. Its already hard going and when bank of england start pushing intrest rates up we will see more people loosing homes etc. Work out your disposable income on your wages after you have paid all your bills etc theres not a fat lot left.
Live life to the full and enjoy, try and help people who havn't got as much as you, you never know what tomorrow will bring!!!!
Diesel is now £131.9 a litre at our local garage... I'm seriously considering getting rid of my car and cycling to work.
It's roughly an 11 mile round trip. I done it before for about 6 month and felt great for it, also had plenty spare £££
I bet it's killing you mate.
I've got a Seat Ibiza Cupra, it's a Diesel but it's been chipped and re-mapped so it's not to good on the jungle juice.
For the amount that I drive it I should really flog it and get a banger because it's only used as a work horse.
When do thee banks give us r money back we propped them up with Don't see thee politicians cutting there cloth like I have 2 All lying self centred c11nts tbh Cuts cuts cuts and taxes taxes taxes They should have let the banks go cause they will bankrupt us all Got a nice punto for u j lol
I keep hearing that 20% vat is fairly typical across Europe. Diesel is flipping crippling though, the vat increase along with duty rise is a nightmare. People will complain about fuel as they can see the price going up everyday when they drive past
They are trying to creep the value of the pound down to the same as the euro then we will be advised to join and then end up in the boat ireland find them selfs in a faster sinking boat than us
Denmark has a VAT on 25% and we have had that as long as i can remember
I worked in Denmark for around 5 years. We would pay 30% flat rate Hydrocarbons tax to Told Skat (sp) - it was a decent deal to be honest
