just back from holidays and have left over euros on a prepaid post office card.

i believe they will buy it back from me, however i am under the impression that it might be a bit of a rip off.

would i be better just taking the cash out of a UK machine?

anyone done this before? any info would be apprechiated.

Do they give you less than they would if it was cash they were buying off you ?

Its such a rip off....Mind you i have been benefiting, been matching post office prices and have been buying euros in advance of my holiday next year at a rate of about 1.5 from my mates, they would rather sell them to me than back to the PO !!

when you get the card they usually offer you a buy back , where you pay say 3 quid and whatever is left they'll give you the same rate ..
failing that , draw it all in one go from cash point .. may lose a couple of quid on it though ..

there is a handling fee too i think.
