you don't need to measure it, just the style. Is it around belt or mid to below cheeks ;)

I'm 6'1" and it ends below the posterior. (I thought saying cheeks sounded rather gay. ) It's a nice coat but just not for me.

I prefer shortish jackets TBH, those that sit slightly below the waist find favour. I'm giving serious thought at ridding my winter explorer from '05 for that very reason.
