Wow I can see the intent if used but jees under army barracks and still charged with that, justified in showing this case sympathy and understanding just what the SAS do for our and other countries. Good news, pleased for them. would have been a massive injustice but there was only ever one outcome surely in this case after reading it.
It Used to be common practise for soldiers to return with some weapons as souvenirs from overseas. I remember a part off the hilt of a Japanese Sword knocking about in one of my Grandads workshops.
Ex-squaddie myself with friends still in. There seems to be a politically-driven agenda when it comes to these cases. I first noticed it with the the Mirror's fake photos:
Ex-squaddie myself with friends still in. There seems to be a politically-driven agenda when it comes to these cases. I first noticed it with the the Mirror's fake photos: The meeja went into a frenzy queueing up to attack the British army branding them animals etc. At the same time there was a steady flow of coffins being flown home which, at that time, were completely ignored. Any allegations against a squaddie, no matter how frivolous, were given maximum exposure but if the lad was later proved to be innocent it was ignored. since then any claim against a squaddie by some Iraqi has had a seemingly unlimited funding for legal fees. Makes some of us wonder...
