What plans, not silly New Year resolutions that last a week do you have for the year ahead.
Me, need to stop spending so much of my hard earned on clothes i don't really need. Get out more on my mountain bike and seriously cut down on my the booze, on it every day. Now there's a thought, if i cut down on my drinking i'll have more money to spunk on clobber..........life ain't easy is it.

Thought we weren't doing new years resolutions??!!
This year I plan to finish my degree course, plan my wedding (or nod my head as she plans it), get a promotion at work, only by clothes that are keepers, and possibly complete another cycling/kayaking-type adventure for a good cause.
I'm not talking about a New Year resolution, that is merely an assessment of, and often delusional attempt to correct, one's shortcomings. Typically made on a day that is arbitrary except that it begins a new year on the standard Gregorian Calendar. Given the arbitrary nature of the date and the sudden change of lifestyle demanded by most resolutions, it should not be surprising that most resolutions are abandonded by the start of the next year. Fortunately the next New Year gives a person the opportunity to make the same resolution again. I'm talking long term projects/missions.
