My contract with Orange is currently coming to an end. Started looking at other provider and contracts.
Tesco are doing some good deals, anyone else use 'em.
I've just renewed with Orange as my phone broke also did my Ol' boys. Whatever deal and phone you find just call Orange and tell them your leaving as you've found a better deal and need the code to keep your current number. They'll ask what it is then better it ( Disclaimer - They always have with me and me' mates who are also on Orange over the years.).

Even with iPhone contracts?
I'm not sure about Iphones. I asked and got a HTC Desire, 600 mins (my average use is 300), 500 texts (av.150), 500 mb (internet usage), 20 picture messages, unlimited landline etc...for £21 inc vat (18 mth contract) (pre-rise). Subsidised (by Orange) insurance for £3.50 a mth (3 mth minimum contract) . My Ol' boy got a Nokia 6300 something and 500 mins for £8.
I'm not of the Iphone generation I'm afraid. I didn't actually need a smartphone just wanted to screw them out of an expensive phone.
How you finding that HTC Desire mate?
At first I didn't like it. I'm not in any way tech savvy and have always stuck to basic Nokia's, I only changed because my phone broke. However, now I've got used to it. I really like it. I don't use it to anything like it's full potential. Use it mainly to phone/text but when on the Net it's really quick. I was worried by the reviews I'd read saying the battery life was pony on it. But I only switch the 3G on when I need it. And can go 3 days between charges. My old phone needed daily charges. Worth looking at if you're going to change phone.
Cheers for that mate, have a Nokia on my current contract, couple of Sony's before that. Keep looking at that HTC but didn't know anyone who owned one.

Been with Vodafone for a few years now, when my contract run out last year i just kept my phone and took a new contract out. Either 12 or 18 months, 900 mins, unlimited texts and unlimited internet for £20 a month Never really had a problem with their service either.

Been with Vodafone for a years now, always say Im gona move at the end of the contract and end up ringing them asking for PAC code etc etc and they seem to be able to come up with a deal good enough to keep me so end up staying. Mate has his with Tesco's and he says they are fine. Just a case of shopping around T for what best suits at best price I guess.
