My mate has won a few quid at the bookies, and wants to stash it , not in his home ''mrs finds out'' nor in a bank , we were discussing if their is such a thing as saftey depoisit boxes anymore, where you can stash cash with no questions asked ? i dont think there is now, i think you need to insure and declare everything ?
Any advice ? anyone done something similar ? thanks in advance .
Must be some wedge that, does he not have an attic.
To be fair it's not that crazy money , he just wants a safe place where he can pick it up from any time , he does not have any good stash places in his house
£132k a year, for one you could barely fit an envelope in. Unless he's got some photos of Prince Charles being buggered by a Corgi to put in, I'd say he shouldn't bother

£132K surely not ! thats fucking outrageous ...ach fuck it i will keep it in a plastic bag under my bed for him
I used to have monies stashed all over the place outside, dig a hole put some plastic tubing and safe as houses aslong as you remember where your stash is, had to give up on this idea as ended up with too much money and became very paranoid as it was dirty Ya get me
Failing that, buy one of those baked bean tins which is actually a safe
Whats up with him just opening a new Bnk account and ditching the card then he can just go in with #ID to lift money, wife would never need to know, or he could just dig a hole like Ja , tell the wifes hes taking up gardening lol
] I am the face, She has to know me, I'm dressed up better than anyone Within a mile.

Never, ever, argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience
Think most banks will still do safe custody as an alternative which is roughly the same thing, where basically you could store documents or whatever you want in a large envelope. They used to let you have use of an office to put in " your package " whatever you want then seal it, you sign and a bank worker signs and it basically gets locked in a safe. Used to be about £20 per year.
