Need some advice from our four eyed members. Just come back from the opticians and they're saying that I'm a little short sighted but that wearing glasses is up to me. Been struggling lately with the glare on the computers at work.
Means nothing to me but my perscription is saying 0.2510 and 0.2535? So just wondering if there is much point wearing them, like will I see a huge difference?
No idea on what those numbers mean but if its down to glare off computer screen you can do something about it. If its a decent sized company you work for, talk to HR and get some advice from them, I think you can get a sort of fly-mesh type thing to put over the screen ? You might find its also something to dow with the lighting in your office as well. Try and get away from the computer regularly (easier said than done sometimes I know)
Got to say I don't know what the numbers mean. I'm -2 and could get away without glasses for everything except night driving. I guess the only way to tell is how much better the vision is when reading the chart with and without lenses.
Agree with ED68 if you think driving is an issue its normally time to purchase, im around your prescription level and driving, going to football and big screen presentations at work at the only times I wear them. Bit of a chicken and egg situation really don't know till you have tried them.
Be careful what you dream of it may come up and surprise you.
Cheers lads. Realised over the last few days that I'm struggling more than I thought so gonna get a pair. Work will pay so not like I'll be out of pocket.

i have a very low perscription too and just use it for computer and tv and night driving. glasses direct are really good for lenses and you can get some cool cheap frames off ebay.
