it's superb. Some of the faces are immaculate. Loved the Hugh Heffner bits and the tim Allen putdown is laugh out loud stuff!
I found the Office top notch although all his characters since seem an extension of Brent tbh.
One thing though - saw a few comments from some other show business person saying he's an absolute tosser who's up his own arse.
"The nightmares invading the sleep of Bayern fans involve four horsemen of the Champions League Apocalypse riding towards them. As the faces come into focus, they will recognise Frank Lampard, Cole, Petr Cech and Drogba. All were immense..."
I liked The Office. But haven't seen him in anything else apart from interviews were he comes across as smarmy.
However credit to him for this. Considering he's fairly new to the 'Hollywood' thing. To go out and rip the p*ss out of everyone who's anyone and everything (Scientology, plastic surgery, closet homosexuality et al.) they hold dear. He has some bol*ocks he knew what he was doing and could have soft-soaped them and kept counting the $$$$$. And I'm sure there were 'stars' onto their agents right the after ceremony trying to get him blacklisted for having the audacity to state the bleeding..... about them.
Yeah, US media speculating that he won't be offered such a job again. De Niro was laughing, his joke about the waiters was pretty good as well. Most people didn't laugh at that.
The category of the prosumer commodity does not signify a democratization of the media towards participatory systems, but the total commodification of human creativity
The Hugh Heffner joke had me in stitches, seemed to give DeNiro a kick too, as was pointed out previously, its nice to see someone really rip one out of the Hollywood Stars, some of them are pretty ludicrous and need to be reminded of it!
