not suprised by yesterday's events ,we are a mid table team who have been punching above our weight for the last couple of years.They have got rid of a few players and havent replaced them ,let alone bought world class internationals that are so badly needed.Same old same old

I hope that the defeat yesterday was a clear message to AW to bring in new players now! He says to look for the right players - sorry? Lots of good players are on the market like Eriksen from Ajax or Fellaini etc... Lets hope for a better result Wednesday night - tough game!
I went up the Albion yesterday quietly confident and looking forward to the new season. We were shit and so were Southampton, hopefully it's just starting up jitters but it was a proper watching paint dry moment at times.
