I was listening to a Moving Shadow album earlier on the way to work.
Don't take me back, im stuck in a timewarp.
I love all that Darkcore/atmospheric stuff, that's what I was listening to in the early/mid 90's when my mates were listening to Happy Hardcore, I always have to be the awkward one into some different shit
Quote by GelseAgreed mate. I hate all that indie bollocks they call Drum and Bass these days. Pop shite!
Pendulum can fuckoff back to New Zealand and die imo.
Give me Remarc / Bizzie B or the likes on Omni Trio anyday.
A few of my mates claimed to have gotten into D'N'B a couple of years ago, I was like ahh really, what sort of stuff are you into? to which they replied 'Pendulum' sigh...I played some stuff like pulp fiction, deep in the jungle, Atlantis and kemet crew - the box re-opens, they thought they were all shit, fuckin peasants.

I was massively into d&b in the mid 90's to the early 00's but fell out of love with it when it went all mainstream with shy fx and zinc taking to the charts, plus skibba and shabba piss me off. But within the last year, due to recently hanging around with some chaps, ive been getting back into it but the more intelligent liquid stuff from London Elektricity, LTJ, Fred V, S.P.Y etc. Much better crowds as well, esspecially at Hospitality and Good looking records events. No groups of 20 black kids surrounding me at one nation asking for my phone. Good vibes.
