Awful in Kent We are on the arse end too so its coastal gusts. Neighbours fence gone and debris galore. Driveway covered in tree debris, so that my job today!
Passed over 20 trees / large branches that were partially blocking roads or pavements on my detour to work. Twenty minute drive took over an hour as my usual route was out of action due to a bridge closure on the dual carriageway.
Roads totally unpassable in two or three places as well.
General smaller debris everywhere and signs of surface water drains starting to block due to said debris. So if they aren't cleared and we get any substantial rain I'd expect some localised flooding.
it hasn't, been quite mild up here in north-east, slight breeze this afternoon and the sun got out, and had a bit of spring in me step delivering the post as well after beating them up the road yesterday. hope everyones ok where it has hit hard.
