due to new members joining and several jumping straight onto sales threads and advertising there items and not posting on the board prior to using the sales facility, we are now requiring a minimum of 50 Posts before any member is allowed to sell as from 23/01/2011 all previous sales threads will be left in place. Thanks
Live life to the full and enjoy, try and help people who havn't got as much as you, you never know what tomorrow will bring!!!!
What the man said...... Just to clairfy we are not excluding members here, Im sure we are all big enough to realise the benefits of this forum and can see this rule keeps a tight ship.
Anyone who has less than 50 posts at the momment and has a sales thread running we will leave it running, the rule is from now so to clarify as from now only 50 posts plus are allowed to advertise any sales. Cheers

I might be out of order here, but i think certain exeptions should be made J,ie, lads who are well known from other forums,eg, Wrighty and The Ronin, as these two always put stuff up at very good prices
Mac the 2 mentioned are over the 50 mark anyway my man
i thought they might be, i was just using them as examples of lads who benefit a forum without overly posting
Apologies lads,i have less than 50 posts but thats due t having fuck all to talk about and not replying to every thread just for a post count. Hope lads that have dealt with me can also vouch for me
A possible backlash of this is people posting superflous posts to reach the 50 mark. Like with the 500 post rule on Found. I know you're not trying to close the section down with memberships etc, but I think it should be kept in mind. Quality over quantity on this great board and god I hope it'll stay that way.
The category of the prosumer commodity does not signify a democratization of the media towards participatory systems, but the total commodification of human creativity

The 500 rule is better , but with this getting up and running alot of people are off the mark , who have/had thousands of posts on other forums , 50 is the best way for the time being.
But then again lads. If someone wants to rip someone off, they will..regardless of post counts. All down to common sense really. Don't know/trust a poster on here don't buy. That's my view anyway..
