I hope he goes. I don't support either team but i just like seeing controversial stories. And I have a bit of a dislike for liverpool (as well as chelsea though).
He has handed in a transfer request which the club have rejected, let him go nobody is bigger than the club.Only last year he was saying how the fans & the club are the best in the world.
Reading on the train last night, that Chelsea placed a £40million pound bid in for him. And he has a buy out clause of £55 (i think) IMO, hes going to go, Abramovich loves him;)
I wouldnt let him go , suarez isnt that good in my opinion. He was class for Ajax last season, but was absolutely shite for them this season. Didn't even play that much games for them cause he bit a psv eindhoven player in the neck and got suspended 7 games
Suarez hasn't signed yet, a deal has been agreed between clubs, but how will he feel knowing Torres wants out? Maybe part of the allure to him was playing alongside Torres.
Would love to see him go, doesnt bother me where but just to drop Liverpool in the shit If he goes i wonder how long it will be before Stevie G wants out as well
Perhaps like a certain Wayne Rooney its a ploy to get more money! What a great season hes having well worth the money. We all know there is no loyalty in football players leave life goes on.

I would like him to stay but if he wants to go let him.
Good deal for 'pool. Madness from Chelsea if true. I wonder if Ancelotti has any say in it
I don't think so Phil. THe main risk is Torres fitness. Anelka? Great against lower PL teams. Never turns up in the big games. Ever! Would happily see him go the other way. Who would you buy to replace Torres for 40 mill? For me, Torres is in the same calibre as David Villa, Droba (on his game), etc.... If Andy Carroll is 25 million - then that gives it perspective.
Just heard a rumour Ibrahimovic to Liverpool???????? :-)
I think liverpool are holding him back.
I think you re right Ryan, him, Reina and Gerrard are all that hold that team together, Torres has still got it, he just doesnt fancy missing out on champions league football for the rest of his career..
Torres is a great goal scorer, but £40m for a player that is only available for half the season just seems like madness! Plus although he's a complete twat, I've always quite liked Anelka

True, more insanity. Meanwhile we're going bankrupt trying to pay Nyron Nosworthy's £10k a week
I look forward to seeing Torres kissing the Chelsea badge on Sunday

it's all crazy, mate. I wouldn't be surprised if the entire affair is Torres trying to squeeze a few bob out of Mr Red Sox - and maybe a decent player or two as well

I think he will go now, good luck to him part & parcel of football players coming & going just wish he would have kept his mouth shut spouting the usual crap about how he loves the club & the fans.
