Gown & Oars Pembroke Quartz Watch RRP £150 £50 PPG [i]Inspired by Pembroke College in Cambridge, as well being a nod to Pembroke House prep school in Kenya (in note to one of our founders). The timepiece is elegant yet understated, as at home in the boardroom as it is on the sports field. It has been designed and part assembled by hand in Cambridge, England and houses a powerful Swiss Quartz Ronda Movement, which ensures timepiece accuracy.
The 40mm dial has a bright white face with clear date aperture window. Steel appliqué batons mark 5 second intervals with the index design marking smaller increments complimented by polished aluminium hands with tailed second hand.
The Pembroke is set in a mirror polished stainless steel bezel, the dial is housed in stainless steel durable enough for everyday life with a strong crystal sapphire glass to protect from scuffs and scratches, at a reassuringly sensible light-weight, not overbearing nor too heavy.
The 210mm natural leather wrist straps have an individual appearance with subtle variations in grain size. We suggest care be taken not to wear the leather against rough or abrasive surfaces as to not damage the fine and delicate leather.[/i]
