Initially it could look like they were bought to sell on ebay at a profit which is what someone on the Osti forum has recently done (bought a jacket for £300 and put it on ebay for £600) and they've since been booted off said forum for profiteering and after someone went through thier threads they had previous form as well. Don't think that was your intention for what its worth??
I was debating ebaying the chinos myself but after looking through it looked like they were only going for between £35 /£40 so I couldn't be arsed, personally I'm not that bothered what you do with them but it was a shame they didn't fit as you liked.
