Going to be honest with you all, I'm currently doing a research project as part of my degree and I'm looking into subcultures online. I don't want to intrude on anything and all usernames would be changed. I would prefer to do this project on something I'm interested about rather than talking about fucking bollocks. I was just wondering if there would be any objections to me using some older posts for data? For ethical reasons, I'm required to ask permission but also I'd rather be honest with my intentions than seem like I'm being smarmy. This would really help me out gents. P.s. I'm genuinely not a grass

Basically mate, just certain threads gonna look at, mainly clothes ones, threads where the missus is mentioned, football related threads. Just to look at how forums like this form a community for people with similar interests. If anyone would prefer, if they're unsure of me doing it like, I'll post on each thread I want to use stating this is one of the threads I want to use for data and if anyone objects then fair enough but obviously some threads will be more interesting to look at rather than others
