Anyone got one? Picked one up from work and using it just now, got to say I'm not that impressed - just seems to be a big iPhone that you can't phone with - or am I just too old for technology?

Nope, i'm with you on this one mate, fella at work bought his in to show me some pics he had on it.
Started bigging it up look, this is good, watch this, blah, blah.
Very nice i said but my phone can do all of that and more.......and it fits in my pocket, twat ain't spoke to me since.
I've got one. I find it great. I use it as a magazine and a book reader as well. I also use it to watch films etc. Its nice and portable even compared to a laptop which is handy as I work away from home. A few things do piss me off about it though. Lack of flash player support, lack of USB and the fact that when you buy it you need to put it into an itunes enabled computer which makes it a non starter as a standalone device for web browsing which it should be.
EDIT: also the phone arguement is a non starter. If you want something that is truley portable and can just surf the web then I would go for a phone as well but for watching films, reading books and magazines etc it is a bit pish IMO.
I'm not really sure of all this pressure, I'm never gonna lose any of my old letters, 'Cause they'll stay with me, Until I can see that I'm no one

Live life to the full and enjoy, try and help people who havn't got as much as you, you never know what tomorrow will bring!!!!
Just seems a pointless piece of kit, I should've known when I couldn't even give it away to any of my kids. Am just thankful that I didn't have to pay for it. Like my iPhone but this just seems to be another money making exercise for apple

Would love one, do most my web browsing when on the sofa. Use my iPhone a lot so an iPad would get a lot of use. The instant start up/shut down appeals to me. The price tag doesn't

The apple cash cow keeps rolling on because fools carry on subscribing to the propaganda.
I'd like a Mac book but really don't see the appeal of these. Had a try on one and just ended up getting frustrated that the keyboard was onscreen only. Didn't realise they couldn't be used as a stand alone either and needed an itunes enabled computer
