Good evening gents.know there are a few punters fae Sheffield on here.looking for decent suggestions for boozers near Sheffield Wednesday's ground.prefer traditional types of working mans boozer,decent grub a plus and preferably quite busy with wednesday fans on a match day.any help appreciated!!!

Only one I know is the New Barracks Tavern. Castle Rock Pub and does a smashing pint of Screech Owl.

Kelham Island is pretty close though, which is littered with top quality ale houses.

Close is good as we will have a mini bus anyway to get to the ground.fair age range so traditional pubs would be best

Kelham island is a small area about 2 mile from hillsborough...3 or 4 boozers to go at, real ale a plenty, close to the tram stop that takes you straight to the ground...

Agree on Kelham island, 4 good boozers down there. Riverside does good Burgers n all.

Saturday 1st of August wadey,playing Sheffield wednesday in last friendly before the new season.just looking for a couple of boozers for beers before game and maybe one or two after it.hopefully stevie may will still be at wednesday so we can try and blag some tickets although I heard Rangers are sniffing about him
