Is there any difference between them? The lies they constantly come out with.Torres "I`d never sign for another English club" Rooney "Once a Blue,Always a Blue" I`m starting to think not, what do you lads think?

You are dead right there Coops my man Torres spouting more lies this weekend sure the money helps him sleep at night! Used to have respect for him but he has conducted himself very badly lately.Don`t wish him any harm but hope he has a shocker today
The way I view them is that footballers by and large have a talent that people will pay them for. They on the whole have no moral compass they'll say and do whatever they're told to and on the whole they don't exactly retire from football and take up careers in astrophysics. They are shallower than a teaspoon monkeys being controlled by their organ grinding agents and advisors.
Whereas politicians are masters of their own destiny. And it takes a lot more effort, conviction and blatant b*llshit, to go in front of people and blatantly lie about what they say they believe and what they actually seem to believe in when their true colours are exposed.
None of them have many if any redeeming features. But politicians edge ahead of the vote (no pun intended) for me in disdain felt

If someone offered to double your wages and give you a lump sum for moving doing the same job how much loyalty would you show to your organisation where you work. They seldom support or come from the city/town they play for, so why should they be loyal. It is there job, granted a job most of wish we could do but never the less a job. Greed is easy to call but if you were offered the sort of money that goes around very few would turn it down. The trouble with us the football fan we always think with our hearts and this clouds our reasoning when things like this happen. As regards the Torres deal Liverpool fans are not used to this kind of thing and seem to be taking it hard, but how many players have they signed breaking the hearts of other football fans. Players will make as much as they can and they also know the clubs will drop them if they don't deliver. Most fans are used to this and hope they can hang on to the better players just a bit longer and dread the transfer windows. I notice the lack of sympathy written about Carrol leaving Newcastle by Liverpool fans so that must be OK, just business but rest assured he will show the same loyalty to Liverpool as he showed to Newcastle if a bigger club comes in for him in a few years. There are many disillusioned fans out there and it will get worse unless an rich ownerbuys your club. Bottom line it's all about the money end of.

Some valid points there however i am not pointing out how much money they earn, its a lot & good luck to them. Its the lies they come out with pledging loyalty to the club, then stabbing the fans in the back who pay good money to watch them.I would rather the players say nothing at all than come out with complete BS about how much they love the club & fans.
Yes I think we all would but if say Torres or Carrol came out with I'm only here for a bit until some one bigger comes in for me an then I'm off like a shot. What would be your reaction. Mine would be what the fuck, why have we signed him and then hopefully respect him for being honest. We had it when we [ Bolton ]signed Anelka, we all knew he would be off although he never actually came out with publicly. Have to say I do respect him but always think we sold him to cheap, but then again it is probably one of the reasons we got him in the first place. Bottom line very very few players would stay at your club if a large carrot was dangled in front of them. Even Man Utd had to let Christiano go to Madrid, so it does happen to every one.........................They are all cunts.
