It’s almost 20 years since my last radio show was beamed from the top floor of a dodgy Sheffield tower block, so I’m very excited about my new monthly internet extravaganza, ALL OUT WAR RADIO. We are ‘going global’ this Saturday, 19th Feb, from 4–6 pm on http://www.myhouseyourhouse.net, home of Red Rack Em’s Smuggler’s Inn, Beane’s Noodle Hot Pot and many others. Big thanks to them for hosting us.
Joining me every month from The Disco Bunker will be KC, veteran vinyl collector and disco mixer. Every month we’ll be declaring ‘ALL OUT WAR’ on the world of music and generally making it up as we go along. Our featured musical styles will be Disco, House, Italo, Funk, Techno, Soul, Electro, Boogie, through to the very far reaches of Weirdness; old, new and pre-release.
As you may know, my label ALL OUT WAR Records is home to releases by Greg Wilson, Al Kent and my own stuff. I’ll be using the new show to promote the label, sniff out possible future releases and to support production talent both new and established.
