Don't bother with the Ramblas. First time we went we ended up in some very dodgy situations along there. Don't bother with the prostitutes - they're pickpockets. Don't bother with the beer sellers - they're pickpockets too.

Word of warning - if a stranger comes to you to and starts talking about football, and goes into the difference between spanish and english football, hit him. Otherwise he'll go on to demonstrate how the British footballers tackle, while putting his hand in your pocket. This happened to me twice in one night.

Great city and a fantastic place to win a European Cup.

Enjoyed it with the wife as well on a seperate trip and if you keep your wits about you, you should be fine. The same as any other major city in Europe.

Went at the end of November last year. Didn't feel threatened once when I was their. I was with me bird and she is the biggest wimp ever and said the same thing. We were on Las Ramblas for two nights too, think what someone said earlier about them having a major crackdown on the crime has worked. Didn't see any brasses just asians trying to smell me them flying things or things that make you speak like a duck haha.

Do the camp nou tour about 23 euro's and definitely worth it.
