Ryan I used to really like these when they came out (I think 09). Tried it on and it just wasn't a good fit.

I have heard the fit is a bit strange but it's too nice to pass on. I would need to try it for myself.

Hahah. Why would the wire hood be a problem? It's one of the details that makes it a great jacket imho. Like some of the old berghaus lightnings ;-)

Yeah I had a lovely racing green vintage lightning with mint green inner, sold it in a cull When I went through my clobber a couple of year's ago and sold what I did in hindsight some of them were massive mistake's.

i just picked up another lightning in green, medium. hard to beat for gore-tex shell IMO

had this parker in green, its a stunner but it was too big for me. it was really hard to let it go but i wouldnt have worn it a lot i think. green is the nicest colour with a nice shimmer and the wire hood wasnt disturbing, looked very cool.
