Not piss artists - Fancy a big canvas in the lounge but gallery prices leave you too little dough for clothes [clown] Any artist type fellas on here that could knock me up a big canvas - box-section, loads of texture and very abstract... give me a shout !!

No worries, Thom sent them all to me in the first place. Some nice stuff on those sites. A lot of shite too but I guess thats the nature of the beast.
For me art has to be either clever, funny, or have a wow factor.
The best I've seen were in Le Louvre, a hall dedicated to these huge oil paintings of Napoleon's battles, around two storeys high and just as wide. Wouldn't fit on the side of my house, let alone the living room wall!
Always a bit pissed off about turning down the offer of a foreign art students' oil painting depicting an abstract "tour de France" through the Pyrenees (they were doing some work with our local art college and trying to raise funds) As one of my passions is bikes etc, this would have been perfect :-(
