That's just it, I've had the cheap ones which are alright but break easy and look a bit rubbish, then there's all these luminous 'please mug me' coloured jobs, and then they jump up in price. Can't seem to find a happy medium.
The incase ones might be a good bet, was it one of those slide-on type ones?

Yeah it was mate. They clip on but are raised like 2mm of the screen so it wont get hit if you drop it. Got a screen protector on anyway so it wont get scratched.
Went into the Hideout on Beak St. and they were stocking them. Which I thought was weird. Just picked mine up in the Apple store. Must be naturally trendy me!
Theres an iphone case company that make them out of aluminium and include an inbuilt battery there 55notes ill try and find a link Bit steep but with a battery incorporated it could be worth it.
i got the bumper one off apple when they were free, a rubber thing which goes round outside of phone. spot on, no protection of screen but cos the rubber is raised the screen or back never come in contact with the ground (kiss of death there). excellent.
