To me its more a celebrity thing for normal folk to follow what they do, sad I know, It also keeps you upto date if you follow shops like End /Oi etc but like our good selves we already usually know whats round the corner, they do tend to throw in the odd competition. Dont think it will last long really. although I do enjoy posting random shit when bored and travelling
I like twitter - I use it mainly to call people cunts and keep up with blogs, shops, Nottingham forest, England cricket, Viz, twop twips, UKUncut and a few comedians and some bands. As a tool to keep in the loop, so to speak, and to make you laugh I think it's ace.
I have to bite my lip a lot with some of my 'friends' who post self conglatulatory bollocks all the time. Then I get drunk and tell them their cunts.
I'm danpiesley if anyone wants to see my notes and swearies.
Facebook and twitter, it's for kids IMHO, I love talking clothing and music, but to post on my every move is a massive waste of time/life, people saying they are having breakfast, having lunch, going to the cinema, eating a mars bar.....
Agreed but I dont follow woodeyes who inform me of there every move - Micheal Vaughn was a good case in point for that. Potential for a good tweeter but instead choose to inform he was on the school run - twat...
I tend not to post to much but as a conduit for news and information - quickly it's great. The UKUncut movement is a great example of it's power.
