When im in the mood, ill give myself a proper good shave with my cut throat razor.
One of the best things my old man taught me. Worth learning if you want a decent close shave.
I also have a vintage standard razor which takes proper blades, and IMO, this is so much better than the bollocks in the shops.
Have you got any Turkish barbers near you? If you have, worth treating yourself to a decent Turkish shave (They charge me a tenner at the one I go to in Sheffield).

I have only just started really shaving nowadays, not through having no hairs like, But had a full beard for years and when all and sundry started popping up with one I thought fuck that and duely moved on, always had a shadow and rarely clean shaven, Now sporting a rather natty moustache which I like. I usually trim it down and then go to a turkish barbers who cleanses the face in lemon juice and cut throats it, lovely and refreshing

Im digging your 'tash Ja. Tried one myself, but the little lady keeps telling me I look like Freddie Mercury, which is not the best.
Went for a cutthroat in Town at the end of last year, honestly it was unbelievable. Obviously this was taking into account the "massage" at another establishment further down the road later on.
Do it with a Gillette Fusion Power one in the summer months and in the winter with a machine! Never go to a Barber shop myself, hate it if they do it very quick and half of the hair is still on your head!
I use a beard trimmer on me mellon and face. take it down to zero all over so just a tiny amount of stuble - hate wet shaving, face turns into the surface of mars...
Have had various beards and taches in me time as well..
